FAQ — Bellarine Peninsula

How is this different from the Mornington Peninsula tour?

Mornington focuses on hot springs and the Sorrento side of the bay. Bellarine is the opposite shore — quieter, more heritage-focused, and with the Bellarine Pinot wineries that are arguably better than Mornington's. Many guests do both.

Can we take the Sorrento–Queenscliff ferry?

Yes — we can drop you at Sorrento, you cross 40 minutes by ferry as foot passengers, and the driver meets you in Queenscliff. Adds a memorable scenic touch and a small ferry fee (~$15pp). Combine with the Mornington tour for a full bay loop.

Is the Black Lighthouse tour wheelchair-accessible?

No — 80 spiral stone steps to the top. The base of the lighthouse and Fort Queenscliff grounds are accessible, and the views are still excellent.

Can we add the Bellarine Railway heritage train?

Yes — Sundays only, Queenscliff–Drysdale return takes 2 hours. We'd trim Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads to fit. Mention it when booking.
