1. Agreement to Terms
By making a booking through fixpricetaxitoairport.com.au, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before booking.
Fix Price Taxi To Airport ("we", "us", or "our") is a licensed taxi operator providing fixed-price airport transfer services in the Melbourne metropolitan area.
2. Our Service
We provide:
- Fixed-fare taxi transfers to and from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) and Avalon Airport
- 24/7 availability, 365 days a year
- Free flight monitoring for airport pickups
- Professional, licensed drivers with insured vehicles
All fares displayed on this website are fixed-price fares that include tolls and GST. There are no hidden charges, booking fees, or surge pricing.
3. Booking Process
When you submit a booking through our website:
- You will receive a booking confirmation with a reference number
- We will confirm your booking via email and/or SMS
- Your driver details will be provided before your pickup time
- For airport pickups, we monitor your flight and adjust pickup time if needed
By making a booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you are authorised to make the booking.
4. Fixed-Price Fare Guarantee
The fare quoted at the time of booking is the fare you pay. Our fixed-price fares:
- Are the same 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Include all tolls on the route
- Include GST
- Do not increase due to traffic delays or detours
Payment & Card Surcharge
Fares are paid directly to the driver at journey end. Cash (AUD) is always surcharge-free. Card payments attract a surcharge of up to 4% based on card type, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and Electronic Surcharging Compliance (ESC) standards. The surcharge is disclosed before you pay and does not exceed the cost of card acceptance.
Standard Sedan Pricing
All prices quoted on this website are for a standard sedan vehicle with capacity for up to 4 passengers and 1 standard suitcase.
5. Vehicle and Luggage Requirements
You must inform us at the time of booking if you require any of the following:
- More than 4 passengers – a larger vehicle will be required
- Additional luggage – standard sedans can only fit 1 standard suitcase in the boot
- Oversized items – golf clubs, surfboards, prams, wheelchairs, etc.
- Larger vehicle – SUV, people mover, or van
- Luxury or premium service – upgraded vehicle class
Additional charges will apply for larger vehicles, extra luggage capacity, or premium services. We will confirm the revised fare before finalising your booking.
If you arrive with more passengers or luggage than a standard sedan can accommodate and have not informed us in advance, we may not be able to complete your transfer, or you may need to wait for a suitable vehicle to be dispatched.
6. Payment
Payment is made directly to the driver at the end of your journey. We accept:
- Cash (Australian dollars) — surcharge-free
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, EFTPOS) — card surcharge of up to 4% applies
Card surcharge disclosure: In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010, Schedule 2) and Electronic Surcharging Compliance (ESC) standards, a card payment surcharge of up to 4% applies to credit and debit card transactions. The surcharge reflects the cost of card acceptance and varies by card type (e.g. premium cards such as American Express may attract a higher surcharge). It is disclosed before you finalise payment and does not exceed our cost of acceptance.
No deposit or advance payment is required when booking. To avoid any card surcharge, simply pay your driver in cash.
7. Cancellation Policy
Free Cancellation
Cancel your booking free of charge — no questions asked. We understand travel plans can change, so there are no fees or hassles.
Late cancellations: We kindly ask that you let us know as early as possible if your plans change. While we don't charge cancellation fees, late notice makes it harder for us to reassign drivers.
To cancel a booking, call or SMS us on +61 430 711 111 as soon as possible.
8. Flight Delays
For airport pickups, we monitor flight arrivals at no extra charge:
- If your flight is delayed, your driver will wait at no additional cost
- If your flight arrives early, please proceed to the pickup area and call us
- Provide your flight number when booking for accurate monitoring
9. Passenger Requirements
Standard taxi regulations apply to all bookings:
- Child restraints: As a licensed commercial passenger vehicle operator, our taxis are exempt from standard child restraint requirements under the Victorian Road Safety Road Rules 2017 (Part 16). Children under 1 year must travel in the rear seat. Children aged 1 year and over must be seated in their own seating position with a properly fastened seatbelt. You are welcome to bring your own child restraint — our vehicles have at least one anchorage point available. For full details, see our child seat rules guide
- Conduct: Passengers must behave in an orderly manner. The driver may refuse service to intoxicated or disruptive passengers
- Seatbelts: All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times
Child Seat Hire
We can supply a child restraint at a fee of $20 per seat, payable to the driver along with your fare. Child seat availability is limited and cannot be guaranteed on every vehicle. To maximise the likelihood of a seat being available, please request one at the time of booking.
If you prefer, you may bring your own child restraint at no additional charge. All of our vehicles are fitted with at least one anchorage point for passenger-supplied restraints.

10. Waiting Time
Airport pickups: Drivers will wait up to 30 minutes after flight landing time (for domestic) or 60 minutes (for international) at no extra charge.
Suburb pickups: Drivers will wait up to 10 minutes from the scheduled pickup time. If you need more time, please contact the driver directly. Extended waiting may incur additional charges.
11. Liability
We are a fully licensed and insured taxi operator. Our liability is limited to:
- Providing the booked transfer service
- Reasonable care for passengers and their luggage during the journey
- Compliance with all applicable transport regulations
We are not liable for:
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, or other circumstances beyond our control
- Missed flights due to circumstances beyond our control
- Loss or damage to items left in vehicles (though we will make reasonable efforts to recover them)
- Consequential losses arising from any delay or service disruption

13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
